I am getting Married and need SERIOUS advice about the Honey-moon?

Ok , so i am the groom and my bride has asked me to suprise her as to where we are going .. I am not Rich beyond any means but i think i can put together around 5 grand or so between now and then . We are going in December so take that in to thought bc of the wheather . Thanks , Please give me some help / reason as to why i should go to each . with $5000 you can go just about anywhere in this hemisphere for a week, but you will be staying in a fairly ordinary hotel (fine by me, who stays in their room anyway???).





you can go to Hawaii, Jamaica, Key West.





Hawaii because it's Hawaii, enough said.


Jamaica is less expensive, but really nice.

it IS december. do you mean a few weeks or a whole year to put this together? go somewhere warm that has guaranteed weather. some peoplle like cruises, some like hawaii some mexico some the caribbean. all have good points. find out what the weather is and what season it is there. and what is the best place to go, some have said tahiti or bali, if you research, that could be cool.
go to a place where you and your wife will enjoy like on a cruise something romantic like on the cruise have a hotel suite with rose pedals and candels all over the place
Bali is great fun and not expensive. Nice beaches, too. With 5 grand, I think you can have a fun honeymoon.
Your honeymoon destination should reflect what yall like to do rather than just on your budget.





Do yall enjoy snorkling or skiing? Shopping or exploring the backcountry? Sunbathing or horsebackriding?
cruises all the way! you can choose from a 3day to a 15 day - 5 grand will be plenty





December winter in northern hemisphere and summer in the southern hemisphere - so anything under the equator -





if you don't care if its wintery - go to Colorodo and go skiing - snowboarding...niagra falls just as beautiful





What I do suggest is if you do not plan on getting an all inclusive package to not book a hotel until you get there - make sure where you want to go and where you want to stay (i don't know how many times this strategy saved my butt from being in either a bad side of town or just really far away from attractions) - but that's just me being spontaneous

well me and my fiancee are going on a cruise. We picked a week long cruise and the best room and it was under $3000 it was on carnival. I also heard that if you go in the winter it is cheaper, but I might be wrong that is just what I have heard. We also are getting a hnemoon package they have different ones. Ours is $30 it includes wine two classes breakfast in bed every morning and real rose pedals every night, there is also some other things included I just don't remember. You can go and look at the different places to go. Good luck
It depends on your personality! I personally am the romantic type so i would say Venice, its romantic and sooooooooo...... elegant! Or haw about new york... in the winter it is the most fun, madison square gardens and rockerfeller centre!? not to mention all that shopping!?
My fiance and I are just staying home for a week and taking off work. We have never lived together and we just want to be in our own home together for the first time and spend time together. I wouldn't care where we were because I only just want to be with him. The location doesn't matter. I don't really want to go sight-seeing. Later in the year we will take a ';real'; honeymoon and go somewhere. We'll be able to save up some money and we'll be able to enjoy wherever we are more because we'll have had time to adjust to being married.
save your money and go to a nice place close to home. You're gonna be exploring each other, not the scenery.
I just planned my honeymoon. You're only going to do this once so you may as well splurge. I decided to do the ';all-inclusive'; thing. They have them all over. I went with the Mexican Riviera. You'll have all of your food, drinks alcohol included. You'll only need money for souvinirs or maybe some bigger fancier tours. I know Sandals also have resorts all over the Carribean. Just google all-inclusive honeymoons and you'll be sure to find something you like.
go to playa mujures in mexico. they just opened a new resort there - Excellence Plays Mujures. We booked ours for there. We are staying 10 days and it was just under 5 grand - everything included!
