The internet will be your best friend in planning this wedding. You can save a lot by going straight to the source for what you want. For instance, my daughter was married in '05 %26amp; the invitations she found at a local store here were about $180.00. I went online with Carlson Craft %26amp; got the same invitations for $72.00. It takes some time, but it's well worth it. Also, for your photographer, go to your local college %26amp; inquire about a photography student who is about to graduate.

Some good advice that was given to my daughter.... On the day of your wedding, don't let anything or anyone bring you down... No matter what happens or what is said, it doesn't matter.. Because at the end of the day, you will be married, regardless...

Good luck %26amp; best wishes...I'm getting married any advice?
Keep calm guys dont like it when ur all excited, belive me i got married twice. and im a guy
I cannot help wondering why you are waiting more than a year to tie the knot. Advice: don't try to do everything together; each partner should have room for his/her own interests, whether or not they are shared. Spouse and I got married less than four months after we first met; we had a nice church service with a reception at the church, and did the whole thing for less than $1000. (That was ten years ago; we're still going strong.)

You might try going to the Wedding Recap message board . . . and asking to see photos of other black and white weddings.

Good luck to you.
Congratulations, and smart choice on the college, that's what me and my fiance are doing, The flowers are something which you want to put money into, along with the photographer, however the cake you can always get a nice one at a grocery store, i know it may sound weird however we just went to a wedding where they got their cake at a grocery store, it was lovely and cheap. Black and white is nice, it reminds me more of a winter wedding, maybe add some blue, or red. Callalillies are pretty, carnations and roses are always great as well. For the cake if you want to go for something more pricey it might be cute to have a big layer cake and each layer be decorated as a present, it looks very cute!

Good luck!
enjoy every minute of it because it should be the only time you get married. my wedding was Black, Ivory, orange and deep burgundy I planned my wedding in 6 months and then had 2 days in which the bridal party wore there outfits 2 parties great fun
dont let your parents pay for you. it will become their wedding and it will cause you alot of grief ;) lol
