What advice can you supply me with?Married, and i feel like i am ready for children, we are thinking about trying, Any advice?
most important thing i learned is......... don't expect it to happen right away, i did and had disappointment month after month. that way if it does happen right away, its a wee bonus. this section is full of women who thought it would happen straight away, its heartbreaking when it doesn't. good luck ttc x look forward to seeing you on the pregnancy section xMarried, and i feel like i am ready for children, we are thinking about trying, Any advice?
just start trying, there will never be a perfect time to have kids there will always be something to worry about so if you both want kids and are thinking about it i would say start. you dont have to dive head first in doing all of the counting days and body temps and stuff but you certainly could start taking a prenatal vitamin and stop all birth control measures and see what happens. if after awhile you are not pregnant and you feel more urgent about it then you can take further measures. but dont stress yourself out, just go with the flow.
Trying is a very trying experience. Often we think it will happen right away when in reality it can take up to a year and that's normal. So prepare yourself for it to take awhile (even though it could happen right away!). Get a checkup and mention to your doctor that you are thinking about trying s/he will probably recommend taking a prenatal vitamin.
Good luck!
No one is truly ready for children, especially first time parents, that is just a proven fact. I would say that your situation sounds stable and if you think you can handle it then go for it. Give it a go, because it could take awhile to first get pregnant. It took me 16months and I was only 21 years old. Good Luck...
Three months prior to wanting to get pregnant, stop taking birth control. Make sure to write down your period days anad ovulation days. Stop drinking , smoking, or use of drugs of any kind. Ask a doctor if you you need to ween off prescription drugs. A month before begin taking prenatal vitamins.
My husband and I have had three pregnancies all on the first try. I was over 30 with all of them. try to fertilize egg three days before ovulation and on ovulation day then day after.
hope it works. Worked like a charm for us.
have intercourse as much as you can. Good Luck and Baby Dust to You
