For my nerves haha.i am so excited but nervous at the same time.only thing i can think of is a few drinks.....I am getting married today, has anyone any advice?
Congratulations!
Just remember why you are there, because you love this man. Dont think about the nerves and everyone else witnessing your marriage, just think about your love standing next to you. It won't be so bad when you get there, everything will fly by.
Also, don't forget to eat something. Getting dresses and being excited takes alot of energy. And have thet drink as well...I am getting married today, has anyone any advice?
Don't listen to the first answerer.
First of all, Congratulations :)
Secondly, it's nervous to be natural. Just remember why your getting married, because you love your partner and the two of you are going to be very happy together. Today is going to be very special for the two of you.
If you're alone maybe you should call a friend over to chat with you. Awww and again congratulations!!
First of all- get off the computer! LOL
Its 1 am where I am... so... I suggest trying to get some sleep. Cup of warm milk, perhaps a warm bubble bath.
I wouldn't recommend alcohol right now- that might make you puffy and sluggish come morning when you are trying to rush around making yourself beautiful for the day.
Call up your honey and talk to him- it might help you relax just to hear his voice and know how excited he is too.
In the morning- remember to eat a good breakfast. It may be the last good meal you have for a while considering all the running around you'll be doing the rest of the day until the reception- even then, you may be so busy at the reception that you forget to eat anything more than a few nibbles of cheese and crackers...
And remember. This is just one day. After today, its a long, happy marriage.
Good luck- have fun- don't stress. You'll be beautiful!
You know how you are, so come up with thte best thing to calm your nerves. I don't know what you have planned for the day but relax. Even if you have to have two glasses of wine, relax. For me, my stomach got upset and I got nauseated. Actually I think I felt sick the whole week. This sounds silly, but if you think you might get like that maybe get some tums or nauseau medicine.
But you're right....stick with the drinks. =). Good luck. Chances are it will be the fasted three hours of your life and you won't remember the ceremony or the reception until you see it on video.
my opinion is... if ur ready for marriage and fill it 100% that yall are soul mates then go for it. the first year is the roughest because it takes some getting use to it. thats the make it or break it time. if u can pass that then it usually gets better. but the main thing to keep a healthy relationship in my honest opinion is yes yall are married but every one needs some me time. if u are around each other 24/7 then ull eventually end up hating each other. on the positive it feels like you have a huge weight off your shoulders, u no the looking is over, and u just feel whole. good luck
Ahah get offline and get ready! of course, you're a man so you don't have as much to do. Still, I'm sure you could be running over your vows, making sure your groomsmen know of any potential drama at the reception, and getting to the church/hall early so that no bizarre traffic accident can hold you up.
have a glass of champagne when you wake up and a croissant for breakfast (make sure you brush ur teeth afterwards cuz puffpastry can be tricky on your teeth). have massage, get your make up and hair taken care of, put on your dress and enjoy the day ...
congratulations to both of you, may you have a wonderful future together
Not drinks but A drink, lol you don't want to be drunk or throw up on your future hubby. If it's so non-traditional I wouldn't worry about laughing though I'm betting you'll be so overcome with emotion that you'll cry.
I cried at my wedding, which nearly made my hubby cry.
Congrats =)
My advice is...when times get tough...dont give up =) cos theres always guna be brighter days to come...It'll be an emotional ride but u guys will grow together and be happi =)
Goodluck!
Just remember whatever happens it will be funny later. Don't get crazy if something does not go just right. Just enjoy yourself and remember why you are there. I am getting married Monday!
